Author Guidelines

1. POLICY AND SUBMISSION OF MANUSCRIPTS

IJCPMS is an open access, double blind peer reviewed journal covering all areas of life sciences launched in 2021. It publishes FOUR issues (Quarterly) per year sponsored by pharma springs publications. The scope of the journal includes -

  • Pharmaceutical sciences
  • Medical sciences
  • Biological sciences

Manuscripts should be written in English and then submitted after the registration through online at

     http://www.pharmasprings.com/index.php/ijcpms

Once received, all papers will be subject to peer review by experts in the field every manuscript is assessed in a double blinded review in which the authors identity is not revealed to the reviewers. We aimed to review all papers within 2-4 weeks and if accepted, the paper will appear in the next available issue of the journal.

The manuscript should be submitted in single MS WORD document file and the author is asked to upload the item, as well as provide metadata i.e, the reference links /URLS where they get the article references in a separate file along with author details. To improve the search capacity for  research journal. The author is also able to accompany an item with supplementary files in the form of datasets, research instruments or source texts that will enrich the item, as well as contribute to more open and robust forms of research and scholarship the author can track the submission  through the editorial process by logging in, and using the username and password provided.

TYPES OF MANUSCRIPTS ACCEPTED

  • Review articles
  • Research papers
  • Short communication
  • Case study reports
  • Conference processing
  • Editorial note

All paper manuscripts must be written in standard grammatical UK English and all manuscripts should be less than 15% to 20% of similarity score.

2. MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION

The submission of an article to IJCPMS is understood to imply that it has not been either published or not being considered for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts should be neatly typed, 12 points, double line spaced throughout, including tables, fig & images on pages of uniform size with in at least 1 inch margins on all sides. Title should be in 16 points & side –headings in 14 points . Font style should be in times new roman.

THE ORDER OF MANUSCRIPT

(i) For research paper

  • Title page
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Materials and methods
  • Results and Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgments
  • References

(ii) FOR CASE STUDY REPORT

  • Title page
  • Abstract
  • Keywords
  • Introduction
  • Case report
  • Discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements
  • References

Title page

The title page should include

  • A concise and informative title.
  • The title should be kept in short unless it is necessary.
  • Names and addresses of the institution of the authors.
  • E-mail address of the corresponding author.

Abstract

The abstract must be no more than 250 words and should be concise and include only the most important aspects of the study. No citations should be included in the abstract.

KEYWORDS

4-8 keywords should be given below the abstract & must be separated by commas to distinguish them

Introduction

The introduction section should provide a context for your manuscript. When preparing the introduction, please bear in mind that some readers will not be experts in your field of research.

Material and methods

Please provide concise but complete information about the material and the analytical, statistical, and experimental procedures used. This part should be as clear as possible to enable other scientists to repeat the research presented. The use of subheadings to divide the text is encouraged. Primary headings, Secondary, or subheadings should be in bold sentence case. Third level subheadings should be in Italicized sentence Case. In the case of animal/human experiments or clinical trials, authors must give the details of ethical approval (Mandatory).  The clinical trials are registered in a WHO- approved public trials registry at or before the time of first patient enrolment as a condition of consideration for publication. The trial registry name and URL, and registration number should be included at the end of manuscript.

Result and Discussion

Data acquired from the research with the appropriate statistical analysis described in the methods section should be included in this section. In this part, the same data/ information given in a table must not be repeated in a figure or vice versa. Tables and Figures should be self-explanatory and it is not acceptable to repeat extensively the numerals from tables into text and give lengthy and unnecessary explanations of the Tables and Figures. The discussion should relate the results to the current understanding of the scientific problems being investigated in the field.

  • Figures and Tables
  • Table and Figures should be embedded within the body text, do not keep at the end of the manuscript
  • Number consecutively
  • Provide a descriptive heading/legend
  • Place abbreviations and footnotes immediately below the table
  • Use superscript a, b, c as identifiers
  • Illustrations submitted (line drawings, halftones, photos, photomicrographs, etc.) should be clean originals or digital files. Digital files are recommended for the highest quality reproduction (300 dpi or higher, sized to fit on the journal page, JPEG format only).
  • Submit multi-panel figures, i.e. with parts labeled a, b, c, d, as one file

Submission of Manuscript

  • All manuscripts should be submitted via our journal website online submission system.
  • By doing so you agree to the terms and conditions of submission
  • Keep backup soft copies and hard copies of the material submitted

Mathematical Calculations

All the mathematical equations and calculations should be edited by using Microsoft equation editor only.

Conclusion

A conclusion is where you summarize the paper's findings and generalize their importance, discuss ambiguous data, and recommend further research. An effective conclusion should provide closure for a paper, leaving the reader feeling satisfied that the concepts have been fully explained.

Acknowledgments

You as the author are free to decide whether to include acknowledgments or not. Usually, the acknowledgments section includes the names of people who in some way contributed to the work, but do not fit the criteria to be listed as the authors. This section of your manuscript can also include information about funding sources.

Conflict of interest statements

Should be declared by Authors

REFERENCES

IJCPMS follows Vancouver style referencing. Vancouver style is used by MEDLINE and PUBMED generally. Hundreds of scientific journals also using this author number systems. References in the text should be cited in the manuscript by Arabic numerals in square brackets and numbered sequentially in order of citation. They should, if applicable, be before punctuation. Try to use the most references from a standard database like pubmed.

EXAMPLE:

Test [1, 2]

Style of citation is as follows-

Journal article:

  • If there are more than 6 authors use the abbreviation.et. a1.
  • a1 meaning and others.
  • After the sixth authors name, URL provided if exist.
  • Journal name should be mentioned in abbreviation only (Vancouver style does not use the full journal name).

Eg:  “New England journal of medicine is cited as “N Eng J Med”.

Articles with a DOI should be referenced as:
